Hi! I’m Jodi the founder of Wild Dreamers Retreats, I was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where we are nicknamed Yoopers. I was raised in a port city located on Little Bay de Noc, which lead to my love of being on or near the water, it brings me a sense of peace. I have been a Merchant Mariner on the Great Lakes for 20 years as a chef, I am a certified life coach, yoga teacher in vinyasa and yin, reiki healer, and retreat curator. I love learning and expanding my skills. I believe traveling is the best path to personal growth, confidence, and transformation.

Wisconsin

A little about Wisconsin:

Wisconsin is a midwestern U.S. state with coastlines on two of the Great Lakes (Michigan and Superior). It is bordered by Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan. It has 48 State Parks, 8 State Forests, 5 National Wildlife Refuges, and 3 State Wildlife Management Area. It’s easy to fall in love with Wisconsin’s 15,000 lakes. Breathtaking scenery and beautiful wildlife that provide the backdrop along thousands of miles of shoreline, where Wisconsin residents and visitors can swim, kayak, boat, or just relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

West Virginia

A little about West Virginia

West Virginia is a eastern U.S. state in the tree-covered Appalachian Mountains. It is bordered by Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. It has 35 State Parks, 9 State Forests, 1 National Forest, and 2 National Recreation Areas. West Virginia State Park system encompasses over 164,000 acres of land. Home to crystal-clear mountain lakes and stunning natural scenic areas, is the perfect destination to wander and roam. Days spent splashing around in cool mountain water, hiking through awe-inspiring landscapes and marveling at beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Jamaica

A little about Jamaica:

Jamaica is a Caribbean island nation with mountains, rainforests, and reef-lined beaches. It is the third largest island in the Caribbean Sea, after Cuba and Hispaniola. Jamaica is approximately 146 miles long, 51 miles wide, and has an area of 4,411 square miles. There are 345 named mountains in Jamaica. The highest and the most prominent mountain is Blue Mountain Peak at 7,402 feet. There are nearly 100 rivers and at least 50 waterfalls in Jamaica scattered across the Caribbean island’s mountainous interior. The vibrant energy and laid-back charm of the island will captivate you.

Bali

A little about Bali:

Bali is a province of Indonesia, located in the Indian ocean. It sits at the very eastern tip of the Lesser Sunda Islands, along with Lombok, Sumbawa, Sumba and Timor. Bali is known as the Land of the Gods, it appeals through its sheer natural beauty of looming volcanoes and lush terraced rice fields that exude peace and serenity. Bali is also known as the land of a thousand temples. But, in fact, the island has more than 10,000 temples. Bali is approximately 95 miles wide and 70 miles long, and has an area of 2,230 square miles. Bali’s natural settings, scenic beaches, traditional culture, rich history, creativity, art and crafts, and the genuine warmth of the local people is why there is no other place like Bali in this world.
